A. | The Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County has designated the following dates as legal court holidays for 2021: |

15 | February | Washington’s Birthday (Observed) | Monday | |

05 | July | Independence Day (Observed) | Monday | |
06 | September | Labor Day | Monday | |
11 | October | Columbus Day (Observed) | Monday | |
11 | November | Veterans’ Day | Thursday | |

B. | The Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, will adjourn and the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County will be closed on the legal holidays listed in Item II-A. Members will not schedule any cases to any court except Central Bond Court on these dates. |
C. | Members will not schedule any cases to any court on the following keyed-out dates for 2021: |
26-30 | April | Judicial Training | Monday -Friday |
D. | Central Bond Court, which convenes every day of the year, will remain operational on the listed legal court holidays and the keyed-out dates. |
III. | COURT CITING DATE CARDS |
A. | The Police Documents Section will distribute the 2021 Court Citing Date Cards -Traffic (CPD-22.911) and the 2021 Court Citing Date Cards for the Case Assignment Category titled “Misdemeanor and City Ordinances” (CPD-11.562) to all sworn members. These cards are also available online at the Department Directives System. |
B. | When completing the reverse side of the 2021 Court Citing Date Card Traffic (CPD-22.911), members will verify their key-letter designations, courtroom numbers, and court call times via the CLEAR Court Key application. |
